Our History:

The Buffalo Brewpub is New York State's Oldest Brewpub. It had been since 1970, when Iroquois and Simon Pure Brewing Co.'s had shut down, that beer was commercially produced in Western New York. That all changed when we opened on Halloween in 1986. Since then, we have been producing a variety of styles in our 10 barrel extract system. A lot has changed since 1986. We have certainly upped our game! We've increased our draft offerings from 12 to 34 of the finest imports and nationally recognized beers. We also aren't the only game in town anymore. Our good friends at Flying Bison opened up in 2000 and since then breweries have been popping up all over our region. We're proud to carry other locally made beer as well as those nationally sought after. If you love beer, you'll find exactly what you're looking for right here

We are thrilled to be known for many things, besides beer! Our food is outstanding, our friendly atmosphere and the fine group of regulars we have all help make the Brewpub a very enjoyable experience. Be sure to try our locally famous menu items, which always rank among the best (if not THE best). Our Wings are some of the biggest you'll find anywhere, our "beef on weck" is mouthwatering and our "Every day Haddock Fish Fry" is always a pleaser! We're also noted for our Ruebens, Chicken Quesadillas, Salads and of course our complimentary Peanuts and Popcorn. If you're new to the area, be sure to look into our Mug Club, consisting of 10,000 + past and current members!
