Brushy Mountain Winery

125 West Main Street
Elkin, NC 28621

Open: Year round

Today, Brushy Mountain Winery continues in the tradition and spirit of the old Elkin Canning Company at 125 West Main taking fruit from local vineyards and artfully transforming it into great wines.  Brushy Mountain was established in 2005 by Ann and Matthew Mayberry in the Harris Building in historic downtown Elkin.  Many of their wines have been named after local legends, including civil war and revolutionary war legends.  The labels of the fruit wines were designed from the labels of the cans from the Elkin Canning Company.  Brushy Mountain was recently purchased by long-time winemaker Jason Wiseman and his partner in life, Amy Euliss.  Jason and Amy have long-time roots in western North Carolina, and are happy to call Elkin home.  They will continue the tradition of making great North Carolina wines in historic downtown Elkin for years to come.  Please stop in for a tasting or a glass of wine in the beautifully remodeled space.
