Take a step back into Brush history at the museum and school located in Brush's VFW Memorial Park. Some of the historical facts about Brush that you'll learn about include: horse racing, black gold, sugar beets, a facility for tuberculosis patients, cattle feeding operations and the Texas-Montana trail.

Mission Statement

In partnership with the City of Brush! your museum preserves the history of Brush and environs by developing meaningful exhibits, maintaining archives and gathering items, and family histories significant to our history.

Additionally the museum is an educational resource for our community, developing interactive displays of technology, science, and natural history in cooperation with our schools through programs and teacher packets for classroom use.

The museum will be developing community programs addressing the arts through art shows and presentations. With continuing support from the museum members, grants, and local involvement, we will be able to better serve the community.
