Broadlawns Medical Center

The Broadlawns Medical Center campus includes an acute care hospital, emergency services, inpatient and outpatient services, lab and radiology services, mental health services, specialty clinics, dentistry, and a 24-hour crisis team. Broadlawns strives for excellence in providing quality healthcare while also taking a leadership position in teaching the next generation of healthcare professionals through its residency and fellowship programs. In 1971, Broadlawns established one of the first fully accredited Family Medicine Residency programs in the Midwest and has curricula designed to meet all requirements of the residency review committee of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education.  We offer fellowship training in podiatry and psychiatry and serve as the largest extramural training facility for the University of Iowa College of Dentistry.
