Brimley State Park provides recreational opportunities along the beautiful shore of Lake Superior's Whitefish Bay. One of the oldest state parks in the Upper Peninsula, Brimley features hunting, fishing, boating, camping and hiking.
Fishing: Whitefish, perch, northern pike, bass and walleye are plentiful in nearby bays and rivers. A number of designated trout streams are located within 30 minutes of the park.
Hiking: There are no established trails within the park, but a nearby abandoned railroad cooridor adjacent to the park provides opportunities for hiking and skiing in the winter.
Swimming: Brimley provides some of the warmest swimming areas on Lake Superior.
Picnic Area: A grassy area has picnic tables and grills.
