Bremen Public Library

304 North Jackson Street
Bremen, IN 46506

Mission Statement:

The purpose of the Bremen Public Library is to give service to the residents and property owners of German Township by obtaining, organizing and making freely available to each qualified borrower: books, periodicals, pamphlets, cassette tapes, videotapes, art prints and other materials.

The Bremen Public Library must be prepared to provide educational, informational and recreational materials to the local community. It must maintain a free hand in representing all segments of society and represent all sides of disputable questions in that patrons may make their own decision in matters that affect them.

No patron will be deprived of service because of race, color, religious creed, political affiliation or other reason, except for the violation of regulations as laid down by the Board of Trustees for the protection of library materials and property.

The Library serves each patron as an individual, not as a member of any social, religious, political or educational group.

It is the duty of each staff member to give the best service possible in a courteous, efficient manner, and to so inform herself/himself on library policies, procedures, materials, and service so she/he can give fast, competent service.
