About Us:
For over 80 years the Boyd family has been in the farming business. When first started, back in 1923, the farm was a dairy farm. Through the years it has grown and changed and is now an operation that specializes in horticultural endeavors. It is truly a family affair. All the Boyd family including nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and parents all play a roll depending on the season. Each season brings different horticultural products. From annuals and perennials to mums and poinsettias, everything is grown right on the property.
Future plans include the reconstruction of the barn, planting of raspberry and blackberry bushes, as well as adding to the already abundance of blueberry bushes. Wedding flowers are a specialty of the Boyd Farm. Many brides come from near and far to hire the talents of Janet Boyd and Shirlee Sulivan, to help make their "Vermont Country Wedding" an experience to remember. The farm is now gearing up for the holiday season. Thousands of wreaths and roping are hand made and shipped nationwide. Also available are kissing balls, centerpieces and fresh cut Vermont grown trees.
