Mission:

The Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library provides multiple opportunities for people of all ages to have access to written, visual, audio, and electronic resources in a welcoming, learning environment. Its trustees are committed also to the preservation of this historic landmark of the Boothbay Region.

In accomplishing this mission, the library features current, high-demand and high interest materials in a variety of formats. It actively promotes and encourages the use of its collection and facilities provided for community residents and visitors. The library also supports a wide variety of cultural and informational programs for the public. The library encourages young people to develop an interest in reading and learning through programs for children and for parents and their children together.
