Step back in time to the age of dinosaurs, explore life on the Trail of Tears, enjoy metal sculptures, paintings and drawings from the Tom Runnels collection, see fossils, wild life taxidermy mounts and much more inside this architectural treasure that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Relax in the Discover & Play area and find unique souvenirs and gifts in our Gift Shop.

Enjoy our new exhibit featuringÂ pottery and artifacts from the Mississippian mound buildingÂ people of the Peter Bess settlement in Bollinger County, MO.
Other new exhibits of interest include: Ancient Ocean Life, Missouri Dinosaur Discovery, Fishes of Missouri, Missouri Symbols, and Agriculture in Missouri.Â
Other exhibits include: Lewis and Clark Exhibit, American Indian artifacts, local Civil War history, Will Mayfield College memorabilia, and many other items of interest.
