Bluff Dwellers Cavern is a rare gem lost in the Ozark region of Missouri. A bat's flight from both Arkansas and Oklahoma, the cavern has been attracting guests from across the U.S. for 85 years. To find out more about how Arthur Browning discovered, explored, and eventually opnened Bluff Dwellers Cavern to the public in 1927.

Our 85 year old story
Arthur Browning was not the first man to step foot in the cavern, ancient Paleo-Indians used the cavern and others in the Ozark region as shelter. These ancient people were also named "Bluff-Dwellers" by many of the early archeologist and the name soon became vernacular. One of the best things about Bluff Dwellers Cavern is the rich history touching eras throughout earth's history...
