Blue Bird Ridge Tree Farm

Bluebird Ridge Tree Farm, located at the top of Trow Hill in Barre Town, was established in 1987 by the Sanborn family, Rick & Leslie and sons Chris, Jon, and Tim. The original planting was 1,000 Cook Balsams. Today there are over 20,000 balsam Christmas trees growing on the plantation, started from seed sources from Ripton, and Granville, VT, and the slopes of Camel's Hump.

Our trees are hand sheared yearly producing a very full, and natural looking tree. This year we will have approximately 1,000 6-10' trees (a combination of premiums and no. 1's) available for harvest.
