About Us:
BlackRock Center for the Arts’ mission is to be a cultural cornerstone of Germantown that engages the communities of Upper Montgomery County to explore, experience and celebrate the arts. Envisioned and established through a grassroots effort, BlackRock has been operating in a beautiful building completed in 2002. We’ve come a long way since then, and the best is yet to come!
Goals:
•Provide opportunities for people of all ages, means and abilities to participate in the arts as students and as audience members
•Offer a wide range of classes and workshops taught by professional arts educators
•Present artists of the highest caliber on our stages and in our galleries
•Engage our community through strategic partnerships and outreach initiatives
•Maintain fiscal responsibility
