Blackhawk has approximately 5km of cross country trails. Blackhawk makes snow and grooms its trails. Trails are lit during hours of operation. Members can ski the Blackhawk groomed trails during normal club hours or access through the pedestrian gate at other times. Blackhawk trails connect with the Pleasant View Golf Course.

Blackhawk partners with the Madison Nordic Ski Club to offer programs for Madison area youth of all abilities:
High School Cross Country Program: for students grades 9-12.
Middle School Cross Country Program: for students grades 6-8.
