History:
Beaver Lake Park began as a private resort in the 1930s known as the Four Seasons Resort or Bartel's Resort. The resort was sold in 1950s and was renamed Andy's Beaver Lake Resort. In 1960, the resort was sold to the Catholic Archdiocese of Seattle and used by the Catholic Youth Organization to run Camp Cabrini. The camp operated until 1985 when King County purchased the site for the park now known as Beaver Lake Park. The park was transferred from King County to the City of Sammamish in 2003.
