Bear Creek Pumpkin Patch

3000 Plainsburg Road
Le Grand, CA 95333

209-769-1852

Bear Creek Pumpkin Patch is named for the original plot planted in 1996 on South Bear Creek Drive, east of Merced, California. Shortly thereafter, it was moved to its current site near Plainsburg Road and Baxters Avenue, just a few miles from Le Grand.

Our Goals:
When the idea of the pumpkin patch was first dreamed up by co-founders Stephanie Marchini and Jeanne Giampaoli, it was envisioned as a place for school children to enjoy an outdoor agricultural learning experience. They anticipated teaching 500 school-age visitors that first October and ended up with nearly 2000.
