Baptist Memorial Hospital Memphis

Since our modest beginning in 1912 with a 150-bed hospital, Baptist has grown to meet the expanding needs of the communities we serve, at one point becoming the largest privately owned hospital in the nation.

The East Memphis campus of Baptist Memorial Health Care includes our flagship hospital, Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis, which is one of Tennessee's highest volume medical centers. This 80-acre campus is also home to Baptist Memorial Hospital for Women, the Spence and Becky Wilson Baptist Children’s Hospital, Baptist Memorial Restorative Care Hospital, Baptist Heart Institute, Baptist Women’s Health Center and five (5) physicians’ office buildings.
