AARP Hearing Center
Baptist Health Therapy Centers are staffed by individuals with degrees from accredited schools of Occupational, Physical and Speech Therapy. Some of our staff have advanced training with specialized certifications in manual therapy, hand therapy, athletic training, pediatric therapy and neurological rehabilitation.
Traditional forms of therapy for orthopedic, neurologic and other medical conditions are available at each center. Certain centers offer specialized therapies including hand therapy, functional capacity evaluation and work conditioning, isokinetic testing and training, manual therapy, neurodevelopmental therapy, pediatric therapy, pool therapy, vestibular rehabilitation, balance training, fall prevention and driving evaluations.
Baptist Health Therapy Centers emphasize personal service. Your therapist makes a point to know you, your medical history and your progress. And your therapist stays in touch with your doctor to keep him or her apprised of your progress, adjusts treatments when necessary and corrects problems if they arise.
To be referred to a Baptist Health Therapy Center for outpatient occupational, physical or speech therapy, an individual will need a prescription from their doctor. This can be mailed, faxed, or hand carried to the therapy center location of choice.
Every therapy center is located near the patients it serves. They're literally right in the neighborhood, so you can drive and park at the front door.
