Baptist Health

900 Hospital Drive
Madisonville, KY 42431

Baptist Health began as a single hospital in 1924 with the opening of the 120-bed Kentucky Baptist Hospital in Louisville. The system was formed following the opening in 1953 of the 117-bed Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah and the 1954 opening of the 173-bed Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington. Trover Health System in Madisonville joined the Baptist family in September 2012. Today Baptist Health is the largest not-for-profit healthcare system in Kentucky.

The mission of Baptist Health is to exemplify our Christian heritage of providing quality healthcare services by enhancing the health of the people and the communities we serve.

The vision of Baptist Health is to be nationally recognized as the healthcare leader in Kentucky.

Baptist Health will live out its Christ-centered mission and achieve its vision guided by integrity, respect, stewardship, excellence and collaboration.
