About Us:
The Ballet Folklorico Mexicano de Nueva York (BFMNY) is celebrating 30 years of sharing their passion for Mexican folkloric dance with the New York community. The BFMNY is a Non-profit organization committed to sharing Mexican traditions and cultural heritage by showcasing regional dances that have shaped Mexico's culture.
The BFMNY has performed in world renowned halls in front of countless enthusiastic audiences throughout the northeast. The productions are admired for their colorful costumes, lively music and intricate dances. BFMNY has filled great venues to full capacity like: Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, The Museum of Natural History, Madison Square Garden, and Manhattan's Town Hall. BFMNY has performed live for Good Morning America, Fox News, Telemundo's Channel 41, and has been featured as the halftime show for an NBA game. In addition, BFMNY is proud to have been part of countless festivals and community events.
