Azle Historical Museum

124 West Main Street
Azle, TX 76098

The Azle Museum started as a discussion between four people....Byra Stribling, B.J. Clark, Paul Worthen and Beatrice Carter in 1976. This was the beginning of the preservation of historical moments and mementos of Azle.

The Museum is located at the corner of W. Main and Church Street and has two stories of historical artifacts, documents, and photos of generations of Azle families and business merchants. The museum building was originally the home of the Nation family in 1936, and was the site of the Azle Library from 1966 - 1977.

The Museum is self-supporting and relies on membership dues and annual fund raisers to underwrite operational expenses and repairs.

The Azle Historical Museum is open Saturday's from 10 am - 2 pm, March through the first week in December.
