Augusta Nature Education Center

The Augusta Nature Education Center is open every day of the year. And as each day goes by, new challenges arise.

For many years, most of our visitors have been our neighbors and the students from the 2 schools located next door. The City arborist holds several field trips a year, CONY brings classes for nature study, groups visit to capture the beauty of the Center on canvas and on film, and mountain bikes and snowshoers have traversed our western trails. This is the community we serve. The Center has remained low profile and somewhat hidden from public view for many years. But that is about to change.
