Ashby Free Public Library

The rug’s been pulled out from under our plans for the Grand Opening of the Ashby Free Public Library on June 17, 2006.

The wrong carpet was shipped to the Ashby Free Public Library. Regrettably, correcting this error cannot be completed in time for us to install shelving and move in books and furniture for the planned ceremony. The board of trustees is working with the project management team to pinpoint a final completion date.

We regret the change in plans and the disappointment and inconvenience it causes. We hope to have news of a new date on which to welcome you into the newly refurbished library.

In the meantime, library services will continue to be available at the temporary location in the Town Hall.
