About the Museum

Our Museum's focus is on local and area history, and our collection features a little of everything, from the local stagecoach station's door with Billy the Kid's bullet holes in it to... Native American artifacts to...a hands-on children's room to...a restored 1941 Seagrave fire truck to...our restored 1930 kitchen...we are always rotating our exhibits so something new is always on display.

We are located in the Moore-Ward cobblestone house, built in 1904. The unique façade was placed by hand using stones from the nearby Peñasco River and took nearly 2 years to complete.
