The Art Plaza Cultural Center, formerly known as the Crystal Dance Center originated in 1989, is an arts education community center re-founded in 2000, and has continuesly served the community for more than 18 years. The directors of Art Plaza are dedicated artists determined to offer the best possible program for the students they serve. They are committed to providing enrichment, appreciation and continuing development in the arts by offering dance, music, and other various art educations from elementary to professional levels. The goal of Art Plaza is to promote knowledge, understanding, provide and increase the access and appreciation of arts and culture, builds bridges along with ethnic cultures and communities. Art Plaza was in recognition as a Distinguished Community Service Center presented by the State Senator Martin Golden from the year of 2005 to 2014.
