About Us:
ART 101 was founded in 2004 by the artist, Ellen E. Rand. Committed to providing a venue for fine art for its own sake, the gallery is a showplace for exceptional works by artists of all ages and stages, with a long-standing appreciation for sublime painting in the rich mix of art and artists. Poetry readings, artist talks and special receptions are part of the ongoing program. Individual appointments (outside regular gallery hours) are welcome.
Visitors are encouraged to look beyond the current exhibition - into the flat files and the gallery collection. Linger, there is much more art to be seen behind the scenes.
View the artist pages to view the work of our artists and to see special paintings consigned to ART 101 for sale; one-time opportunities for collectors.
