Community driven activities are blended with performance and ceremony and celebration of Appalachian traditions old and new. There are two stages for music and performance, a nightly fire for drumming and dancing, workshops, rites of passage, vending, and more! The festival is family friendly and a great way to connect with nature. Appalachian Summer Solstice 2019 is a full week of celebration of community, eco-spirituality, and Appalachian traditions old and new. This is our first year focusing on regional cultural and folk traditions.
