Located on Carlsbad Village Drive, one-half mile east of El Camino Real, Carlsbad's original dog park provides 13,200 square feet of fenced area for dogs to play and exercise.
The name of the white poodle featured on the park sign is Fletcher. The dog was owned by Ann D. L'Heureaux, a community leader whose efforts led to the creation of Carlsbad's first dog park. The park was named for Mrs. L'Heureaux in 2006.
