Mission:

Andhow! Theater Company is a community of theater artist (directors, designers, arts administrators, playwrights and a few actors) who try to re-examine the process of theater making and the product of theater storytelling through switching up the order of a traditional theatrical process. We are committed to storytelling, and entertaining audiences through an acknowledged examination of the elements of theater. Andhow! productions are firmly based in story, are highly theatrical, and create fantastical worlds whose elements are drawn from a variety of influences, from punk rock to Shakespeare, from musical theater to Tom Robbins to science fiction. We are drawn to theatrical experiences that present seemingly impossible design challenges, tickle our funny bones, and address the existence of soul. Andhow! tries to provide artists with a home to in which experiment by providing space, interesting projects that spark creativity and an environment that supports a strong work ethic while maintaining our sense of humor.
