Altheimer Public Library

Located near cotton, rice and soybeans fields, Altheimer library was built in October 2001 as part of thePine Bluff/Jefferson County Library System. This Jefferson County library is a replica of the Redfield branch and sits a few miles from Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Library meeting room facilities are available for reservation during and after library hours. It is approximately 3,500 square feet, with a large collection (15,000-18,000) of fiction, nonfiction, DVDs and books on CDs. The library has a meeting room with use after hours that may be made by reservation. This location and the Redfield branch are only open part time. the other three branches in the Jefferson County Library System have the same hours as the mainPine Bluff, Arkansas Library branch.
