OUR MISSION

Altermatt Farms LLC is a family owned and operated business that has provided service in Macomb, Michigan since 1960. Prior to farming at our current location, our Grandfather and his family farmed for many years in Warren, Michigan.  We have evolved from primarily being a wholesale produce farm that shipped our produce to the Eastern Market, to a farm that now has a retail greenhouse, and a farm market where we sell our fresh picked strawberries and home grown produce.  

At Altermatt Farms we are consistently looking to improve our growing practices of our greenhouse plants, fruits and our vegetables and exploring new and innovative ways to better our products, for the good of our communities.  Our friendly and knowledgeable staff strives to provide our customers with outstanding service and quality products.
