The Allen Public Library is dedicated to improving the quality of life of its users by supporting their lifelong learning and information needs.

History:

The Allen Public Library opened its doors in 1967 as an all-volunteer organization and became a City department in 1971. It now has a collection of approximately 131,450 books, recordings, videos, CDs and 123 periodical subscriptions.
