About
The Ajo Country Club golf course boasts a "classic" Arizona setting for golf, with the Ajo Mountains to the south, Childs Mountain to the west, and an arroyo cutting through the middle of the course, plus an abundance of wildlife including roadrunners, coyotes and deer. The Ajo Country Club golf course is built on naturally flat terrain and features elevated greens. Strategic shot making is required because all the greens are fast and small, and the fairways are tree lined. The signature hole is #9, a 123-yard, par 3, featuring water and tall palm trees protecting the front of the green. Pilots enjoy the close proximity of the Ajo Golf Course, and restaurant, to the adjacent runway.
