AFA Summer Music Festival
The 2019 AFA Summer Music Festival will be held June 8 – July 13, 2019 with campuses at Kinder High School for the Performing Arts (at their brand new campus in Downtown Houston) and Klein High School. Sessions are available for instrumentalists, vocalists, pianists and composers, with unmatched and unique experiences for each.
Highlights include: a new Composition Studio collaboration focusing on blending electronic, and live music with visual art (in addition to the decades-long collaboration with Houston Ballet Academy), expanded opportunities for our high school level vocalists, full orchestras at the middle school levels, and second annual performance at Miller Outdoor Theatre by the Symphony Orchestra on July 3rd featuring conductor and AFA Alum Dr. Michelle Perrin Blair.
