Adel Public Library

Mission:

The primary role of the library is to support individuals of all ages by providing educational, informational and recreational services to the community. The library’s educational services focus on lifelong learning for adults and encouraging young children to develop an interest in reading and learning. The library provides information on local, national, and world affairs to help citizens fulfill their civic responsibility and helps people connect online by providing access and training in finding, evaluating and using information. The library meets the recreational needs of residents through services that support reading, listening and viewing for personal enrichment in comfortable and safe physical and online spaces.
