About Us

Located in a renovated old ice house in the heart of Athens, Georgia, Active Climbing is glad to bring you one of the coolest places around. With state of the art climbing walls plus one of the best birthday party rooms in the Southeast, Active Climbing is sure to be your next addiction. Check out some photos of our gym & climbers!

Active Climbing is Athens' first indoor climbing gym, and one of the best in the region. We are dedicated to bouldering, indoor rock climbing, fitness, birthday parties and much much more! Come explore and have fun on spectacular bouldering routes, up to 20 feet high, with forms that will blow you away, and terrain you'll only find at Pro Competitions.

The facilities also feature 20-foot tall roped walls (both lead and top rope), a 40-foot long roof traverse, soon to be exercise and training equipment and padded flooring with plenty of crash pads (more than enough to cure you from being afraid of falling!)
