Abington Community Library

Mission Statement:

The Abington Community Library offers library service to residents of the Abington area [direct service area] and its outlying communities, and, as a member of the Lackawanna County Library System, cooperates with other member libraries to make its holdings and services accessible to all county residents. It is responsible for maintaining a useful, current, and reliable collection in print, non-print, and electronic formats to facilitate lifelong learning, provide for leisure-time interests, support student research, and encouraging teens and children to read.
