Whether you envision a miniature golf course with elaborate props and spectacular water features, or a turnkey basic course, A-1 Gunite will make your dream a reality. Timothy Obin, owner of A-1 Gunite, works closely with every client. His designs are unique and beautiful, replete with quality details such as handcrafted waterwheels and bridges, creative engravings, and thoughtful props that give the settings distinctive character.

Miniature Golf Courses, both indoor and outdoor, are profitable additions to Family Entertainment Centers. Mini golf courses are complimented by bumper boat ponds, driving ranges, batting cages, go-carts, ice cream, pizza, birthday party rooms, playscapes, arcades, bowling and laser tag.

Themes for mini golf courses are limitless. One of our clients opted for an unusual alien landscape. The 18-hole course at Planet Maze in Ocean City, MD features a unique outer space mountain range, an alien volcano with bubbling, smoking lava, and a giant alien head cave/water feature.

Many mini golf courses borrow their theme from the local geography. Coastal/nautical motifs are common in the Northeast. They typically include props such as lighthouses, boats, rope work, netting and buoys. Pirate adventure themes are popular as well, as are tropical themes, complete with volcanoes and quick sand holes. Tropical themes are a good choice for indoor mini golf courses.
