4th street theater

125 North Fourth Street
Chesterton, IN 46304

Originally founded in 1990 as the North Coast Cultural Association and was located in the former St. Patrick's Catholic Church until a fire burned the church down in 1998. Our second location, now the Fourth Street Theater, opened its doors in the fall of 1999.  Our first performance was a revival of Footlight Players production of "The Complete Works of William Shakespeare, abridged" in 2000.  We then produced our first show in the spring of 2001:  "The Good War."  In the summer of 2002, we joined the Northwest Indiana Excellence in Theatre Foundation, or NIETF, from whom we have since received over 120 nominations and 40 awards for excellence in all aspects of theatrical production.
