You Can Help Prevent Falls in Wisconsin.

Posted on 10/22/25

October 22, 2025

Falls are a big problem in Wisconsin. More people die from falling here than in any other state. In 2024, 1 out of every 5 emergency calls was because someone fell. This puts a lot of pressure on hospitals and families.

Wisconsin leaders want to fix this—but they need your help.

You can help get a new law passed that will make it easier to stop falls before they happen. Contact your senator today with our easy-to-use email form.

Senate Bill 410 is a plan that both Republicans and Democrats support. It would give $450,000 to the Wisconsin Institute for Healthy Aging, which teaches people how to stay safe and avoid falling. Their programs have helped cut falls by 31%.

You can help make Wisconsin safer by asking your State Senator to support Senate Bill 410.
