What’s Your Story? AARP Maine’s 2023 Virtual Listening Tour!
One year ago, AARP Maine sponsored its first virtual “listening tour” of our state, and we heard a wealth of concerns, suggestions, and ideas from AARP members and non-members alike.
This year, AARP Maine is thrilled to embark upon our second Virtual Listening Tour which we are calling What’s Your Story? AARP Maine’s 2023 Virtual Listening Tour. State Director Noël Bonam will be joined by AARP Maine Volunteer State President Carl Bucciantini, AARP Maine Executive Council member Carl Toney, and local constituents and partners who will serve as co-hosts of each tour session.
The 2023 tour will again offer a venue for people from all around our communities to come together and share their thoughts. Together, we can help navigate concerns, share resources and connect individuals with local services.
Registration is NOW OPEN for the Listening Tour, and you are able to select the session for your region.
These interactive sessions give you the opportunity to share what’s on your mind about issues of importance to the 50+ population from across the state.
So what exactly is our 2023 tour? Simply put, it’s all about you, your thoughts, needs and ideas!
Our What’s Your Story? AARP Maine 2023 Virtual Listening Tour provides an open venue over Zoom to talk about whatever is on your mind. We are all in this together! We can share our own resources, help you navigate your concerns or ideas, and connect you with local resources and services.
What is most important to us is to hear all that you have to say!
Registration is NOW OPEN for the Listening Tour, and you are able to select the session for your region. Even though we have divided the virtual tour “stops” by county, if the timing for your specific region doesn’t fit with your schedule, feel free to join any session that does.
AARP Maine Volunteer State President, Carl Bucciantini, AARP Maine Executive Council Member, Carl Toney, and AARP Maine State Director, Noel Bonam, will attend each session stop. In addition, we are delighted to feature additional guests!
