Webinar Series Helps Participants Navigate Health Care with Confidence
AARP Wyoming and Elkhorn Valley Rehabilitation Hospital in Casper are collaborating on a series designed to expand your understanding of health care. This free, virtual series will cover topics including movement, nutrition, and navigating the world of insurance.
The series is free, but registration is required by clicking here and registering through your aarp.org account. AARP membership is not required, and you will receive an email with the Zoom link before each session. Participants are welcome to take part in as many or as few courses as they wish.
The sessions run from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Thursdays in January. Topics include:
Jan. 8 - The evolution of Nutrition. Discover how nutrition can boost your energy, performance, and overall well-being. Join us for an engaging discussion with Registered Dietitian Sarah Barthel from Elkhorn Valley Rehabilitation Hospital in Casper.
Jan. 15 - Movement is Medicine. Want to stay strong, mobile, and safe for years to come? Join Physical Therapist Amanda Vest as she shares years of knowledge and clinical practice on these topics and more.
Jan. 22 - Jungle. Healthcare insurance can feel like a wild safari! Navigating healthcare insurance does not have to be confusing or stressful. This presentation breaks down the essentials in a clear and friendly way—empowering you to make informed choices about your coverage.
