June is Pride Month when we can honor and celebrate LGBTQ+ Ohioans and their fight to be their authentic selves, no matter their age. Learn more about our nation’s LGBTQ+ history.
There are many Pride events happening across the state of Ohio that are hosted by community organizers, nonprofits, and local government. Browse our list below, but feel free to do your own research as well.
SOUTHEAST
June 12— Enjoy the games, food and fun at Richland Avenue Park for the Southeastern Ohio Rainbow Alliance's Athens Pride Fest 2022.
June 12—Portsmouth Pride will host a Pride Walk that will take place from Vern Riffe Center at Shawnee State University to Tracy Park north of downtown.
June 25—Granville Pride Parade and Festival will take place on Denison University’s College Green.
SOUTHWEST
June 23—Cincinnati/ Northern Kentucky Multifaith community is hosting a Multifaith Pride Celebration.
June 25—Cincinnati Pride celebrates its 49th anniversary at Sawyer’s Point.
CENTRAL
June 17-18—Stonewall Columbus Pride Festival and March packs Columbus with Pride revelers. The two-day festival starts Friday and features the annual parade Saturday. The event is sponsored in part by AARP Ohio.
June 18-19—Primary One Health is hosting a Pride Festival at Goodale Park.
June 24—Reynoldsburg's Pride Celebration in Huber Park has it all: food trucks, community groups and a pet parade.
NORTHEAST
June 11—Lake County Historical Society is hosting Lake County Pride, featuring live bands and a drag show.
June 25—Progressive Field will host a special Cleveland Guardians Pride Night when the hometown team takes on the Boston Red Sox.
NORTHWEST
June 24-25—Get a warm welcome at Sandusky Pride Festival, which kicks off on Shoreline Drive. The parade is scheduled for Sunday.
August 19—Toledo Pride Weekend Kickoff will be held at Promenade Park with live music and drag shows.
August 20—Make sure you pick out the best spot for viewing the Toledo Pride Parade. Participants walk or ride down Adams Street in downtown Toledo.
August 21—Toledo Pride Festival is an all-day event in Promenade Park featuring music, vendors, and more.
