Voter Engagement Postcard Parties

Thousands of AARP volunteers across the country are participating in various activities to encourage older adults to vote in this election.

With some voters feeling frustrated and doubting the importance of their vote, AARP Washington State is rallying our volunteers through a series of “Postcard Parties”.

At these events, we will hand-write messages of encouragement to emphasize the importance of voting in the primary and general elections and mail them to our membership. We are emphasizing the importance of the federal races and the races and issues “down-ballot” this election.

Attending an event can help amplify the voices of voters aged 50 and older, and it is a great opportunity to invite your friends to help us Get Out the Vote.
