AARP Idaho will hold its annual Day of Action at the Capitol on Tuesday, Feb. 7. Members can visit the statehouse, see the Legislature in session and show support for issues important to older Idahoans.
AARP priorities for the coming months include increased high-speed internet access, reductions in property taxes, expanded transportation and housing options, and a retirement savings plan for employees who don’t have one at work.
The day includes a Capitol tour, lunch in the rotunda, committee meetings, House and Senate sessions and visits with legislators. To sign up and for more information visit https://events.aarp.org/idactionday2023.
