Volunteers in Demand For Home + Garden Show
The thousands of people who attend the Cincinnati Home + Garden Show this year will discover the latest trends in housing design, decorating and outdoor living—and learn more about AARP.
Volunteers are needed to staff a booth that provides information on AARP in Cincinnati and its role in making the area more livable for everyone.
The six-day show requires about 50 volunteers to engage show attendees by playing a spin-the-wheel game for prizes. AARP members and nonmembers who take a three-hour shift receive free admission. The job is not difficult, but the mission—to spread the word about AARP programs—is important.
The Cincinnati Home + Garden Show, held at Duke Energy Convention Center, 525 Elm St., is open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 24.
It continues daily Thursday, Feb. 28 (11 a.m. to 8 p.m.); Friday, March 1 (11 a.m. to 8 p.m.); Saturday, March 2 (10 a.m. to 9 p.m.); and concludes on Sunday, March 3 (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.).
