Join AARP in St. Louis for the 16th Annual Sista Strut Breast Cancer Awareness Walk and Parade, Saturday, October 4, 2025, Downtown St. Louis a block away from Soldiers Memorial Park on Chestnut and Market Street! Have fun and make an impact!

Sista Strut focuses on brining the awareness of breast cancer prevention to African American women. African American women in the US have a higher death rate from breast cancer than any other race. Awareness is key with helping with the survival rates and earlier diagnoses.

AARP St. Louis is the 2025 Sista Strut Team Bag Sponsor. The first 2500 attendees will receive a bag on the day of the walk.

AARP will also have a booth at the walk that will give the attendees the opportunity to engage and win prizes.
