FEEL THE BEAT! LINE DANCE CLASS (Virtual)
Join AARP Louisiana for “FEEL THE BEAT!” line dance classes with instructor Pearline Stevens, a Baton Rouge-based fitness instructor. This class is an alternative way to increase stamina and cardiovascular endurance, improve balance, and stay fit all while having fun to the beat of old-school jams. See the dates below.

TURN UP THURSDAY! (Virtual)
Join AARP New Orleans for “Turn-Up Thursday” classes (weekly on Thursday mornings) with fitness trainer Frederick Griffith. The classes include stretching, flexibility, balance, low-impact aerobics, core and strength training to the beat of old-school music. Frederick Griffith is a New Orleans-based personal trainer with over 9 years of experience.

FREE COMMUNITY SHREDDING (In-person)
To help protect citizens from identity theft, the AARP Louisiana Fraud Watch Network will host a series of free shred events to provide a safe location for residents to shred personal documents free of charge. Each car is limited to three bags/boxes. Suggested items include old tax documents, canceled or unused checks, credit cards, medical bills, investment account statements, and other items containing sensitive information. Registration is strongly encouraged.
