Tour, Treats and Testimony in Concord

Posted on 05/14/19 by Jamie Bulen

State House 2019 from Advocacy

The home of state government is a sacred place.  In New Hampshire, we have the largest state legislative body in the country.  (424 members!)  So, we’re big but what really goes on and how does the legislative process work?

Here’s an opportunity for AARP members to get the scoop about the history of our own State House.  Why is it that we often don't take advantage of historical sites in our own backyard?

Join AARP New Hampshire for a guided tour and discussion about the legislative process.  You can even participate in a mock hearing!

Here’s what’s happening:

Tour, Treats and Testimony
8:30 am to 12:00 noon
Tuesday, June 25, 2019
New Hampshire State House; 107 North Main Street; Concord, NH

Preregistration is required and space is limited.  (Sorry, but we can’t accommodate walk-ins.)

Gather in the State House Cafeteria at 8:30 am for refreshments.  And then we’re off!  Enjoy some breakfast treats.  Take a tour.  And practice testimony.
