‘Tis the Season for Holiday Scams Tele-Town Hall
Don’t let the grinch steal your holiday joy. AARP Nebraska will host a December 9 telephone town hall on holiday scams, including online shopping scams, package theft, charity fraud and more. You’ll learn how to SPOT and STOP these scams before they strike you or your family.
We’ll be joined by our special guests, Kathy Stokes, AARP Director of Fraud Prevention Programs, and Phil Carlson, Bureau Chief of the Consumer Protection Division in the Nebraska Attorney General’s Office.
The live event will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2021 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. CT/10 a.m. to 11 a.m. MT.
