Healthy aging is much more than just staying fit. Give your physical, mental and financial health a boost at our interactive Healthy Aging Forum.  This is not your average health fair! AARP Twin Cities, along with several local organizations which serve the 50 and older population, will showcase real tools, tips and daily practices geared towards improving overall health and well-being.

Participants may attend 3 breakout sessions led by local experts on healthy aging topics-of-interest. These fun, hands-on breakout sessions will span multiple rooms across the entire 2nd floor of the Sabathani Community Center.  Participants  will come away equipped with new awareness of how to proactively boost physical, mental, and financial health as they age and continue to thrive in community.  The event is open to the public, and free to all.  Pre-Registration is encouraged.

Topics include:

  • Brain Health
  • Fall Prevention
  • Seated Core Exercise
  • Fire Prevention & Carbon Monoxide Awareness
  • Diabetes Management
  • Fraud & Scam Prevention
  • Long Term Care Planning
  • And more!

Blood pressure checks will be available on-site.

The  event concludes with door prizes (must be present to win) and a jazz lounge social hour complete with a live band courtesy of the 21st Annual Twin Cities Jazz Festival!
